Life of people on earth is obviously better now than it has ever been - certainly much better than it was 500 years ago... But we are not happier. I believer we are just cleaner, more attractive sad people than we used to be.Peggy Noonan

I think for those of us who know Jesus Christ and love Him, we are happier, no matter what age or time we live in... If the joy of the LORD is not strengthen us day by day, perhaps we need to go back and do what Jesus tells us to in Revelation 2:5 "Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent."
I know I have to practice this too frequently... I have been singing to the LORD, and praying on my knees.. nothing seems to restore my joy so quickly... Onward and upward Christians soldiers.. we are in a war.
