57 years ago a nation became a nation in a day...

Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. - Isaiah 66:8

Shortly after the travail of the Second World War, on this day in 1948 Israel became a nation (again), after over 1900 years without a homeland. It seemed impossible and most definitely improbable that this prophecy could or would ever be fulfilled to it's readers before that day, but God's word is true! Such a thought causes me to consider other yet to be fulfilled prophecies.

Let not your heard be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
